Everyone likes to be treated nicely and for some reason, we believe that we don’t have the power to change the world by ourselves. But there are people who do what they can — they pick up a cold homeless dog, fulfill the wishes of children and grandchildren, donate clothes and food to strangers, and help couriers.
At Bright Side, we would like to ask you to follow the example of the heroes in this article and do something kind for those who are close to you.
“We rescued a tiny dog. No more worries, little guy. You will forever be warm now.”
“My dog is very old now and she gets all tuckered out on walkies. So my parents bought her a bag to sit in.”
“I ordered food from the kebab place (again) and when the delivery man came to my door I said, ‘Oh my god, I’m gonna get so fat.’ And then he texted me this.”
When the result is more important than the gift:
“This sloth was found in the middle of a Brazilian highway. The bus driver stopped and gave it a ride to an environmental agency.”
“My mother-in-law recently got out of an emotionally abusive relationship and is living on her own for the first time. My wife posted about it on Facebook and the response was overwhelming! This is what people sent to support her.”
“Look at how our rescue pup looks at my husband.”
“An internet user found out I was using exercise to help with my recovery, and that I don’t have any waterproof shoes for walking in the rainy winter. Thank you for the new waterproof shoes! You are an incredible human being!”
Sometimes even the smallest good deed can mean a lot to another person.
“I wish these were at every beach.”
This person bought food for animals at the local shelter when the local pet store had a clearance sale.
“I came across this fridge full of free food in Hong Kong.”
“My teacher stopped me from leaving the classroom for next period to give this to me because Monday I forgot a pencil. I am so happy.”
“I heard someone crying in the snow, and cleared the banks for 3 hours to save this baby.”
“This is a pile of random screws, bolts, and other things my friend picked up off the road when she went running, saving countless popped tires. This was what she found in 2020. She has already started her new pile for 2021.”
“I deliver for Amazon part-time. During my final stop last night, this women came out and said, ‘Wait I have something for you! I made baby Yoda cookies.’”
