West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has suffered a knee injury, talkSPORT understands.
The 22-year-old returned from England duty last week with a problem and will not play in Monday night’s Premier League clash at Molineux.
Rice is undergoing further tests and it is expected he will miss more than one match.
His absence will be a big blow for boss David Moyes.
Rice has become arguably West Ham’s most important player and has been an ever-present since the start of the 2019/20 season.
He has been key to West Ham’s incredible campaign so far which has them chasing an unlikely top four spot and Champions League qualification.
A win at Wolves tonight will move the Hammers into the top four.
Rice has also become an integral part of the England team and Gareth Southgate will hope he returns to action soon, with Rice nailed-on for a place in the European Championship squad.
